The fight
She doesn't move or attack: she summons waves of stone creatures while you hit her.
One set: the danger comes from the summoned creatures, not from her.
Spells, transformation and soaks are set at a Keeper's Shrine, never mid-fight: what you bring into a fight stays until the end. One spell per category: Cloud Step and Rock Solid exclude each other, pick one before the fight.
What it inflicts
- No status effect reported: she doesn't attack, only her creatures do.
Attacks to watch
- The creatures pile up if you ignore them, and attack relentlessly.
What works
- Two approaches: clear the creatures as they come to hit her in peace, or focus on her, since her death makes the creatures around her disappear.
- A Pluck of Many, if you come back once you have it: your clones keep all the creatures busy at once. A Pluck of Many
Strategy
- Save your transformation to finish her off when her health is low.
- After her defeat, bring the Stone Essence to the Man-in-Stone, in the Squall Hideout ravine.
Access
Fright Cliff, in the cave between Squall Hideout and Rockrest Flat: follow the braziers to the rock with three blue crystals, and hit them to wake her. Optional, tied to the Man-in-Stone quest.
What it gives
- to obtainStone Essence

In NG+
In NG+, you keep your gear, spells, transformations and spirits, and bosses are tougher. Key items don't carry over: the Vanguards' keys, the Loong Scales and quest items must be taken again.
